Leave Bank House and return to A82. Turn L and stay on A82 aongside Loch Ness, watching carefully for any passing monsters. Go thoguht Invermoriston (6 miles) and Urqhart Castle (16.5 miles. In Drumnadrochit turn L at T onto A831 (19 miles) and right onto A833 (20 miles).
Climb steadily northwards through Glen Convinth and at T with A862 turn L (29.5 miles). Take R onto A862 (31 miles) through Beualy (32 miles) Muir of Ord (34 miles), Conon Bridge (38 miles) and at X with A835 SO into Dingwall. (40.5 miles)
Stay on A832 until L turn into Tulock Ave (41 miles) then turn R into Old Evnaton Road. Follow the coast road, but half a mile or so above it, to Evanton (47 miles). Join the B817 and follow it into Alness. Find the Commercial Hotel in the High Street. (50 miles).
