Leave House of Keil and continue NE along A828. At Ballachulish (6 miles) join A82 and cross bridge over Loch Leven. Continue on A82 to Fort William (19 miles). Cross the Nevis Bridge abd take L turn (A830) after 21 miles. After 22 miles take R turn into B8004 and stay on B8004 as far as Clunes, on the shores of Loch Lochy. (32 miles) Then take the Great Glen Cycle Way keepng Loch Lochy on the R.
After 39 miles, at Kilfinnan, join an unclassified road which joins the A82 near the Laggan Swing Bridge on the A82 (41 miles). Then either join the A82 or the cycle route through the forest (the cycle route looks further and hillier) to Invergarry (43 miles).
From Invergarry take the A82 to the Bridge of Oich (45.5 miles) and then join the cycle path again into Fort Augustus. Find the Bank House.
