Leave Rosebank and continue N along A816. After 1 mile take R turn (B840) towards Ford. At Ford (4 miles) leave B840 and keep Loch Awe on right. Continue on this road (or loch-side cycle way, depending on choice) through Dalavich (13 miles) and after Barnaline Lodge (14 miles) take R turn to Inverinan (17 miles) and at T with B845 turn L through Kilchrenan (21 miles) and eventually reach T junction (A85). Turn L into Taynuilt.
After a good lunch in the hotel, finr Mr. Donald Kennedy for a lift across Loch Etive in a boat.
From Bonawe, follow B845 and at T with A828 (36 miles) turn R. Follow A82 over Creagan bridge through the Strath of Appin to Kiel. Find House of Kiel (48 miles).
